Introduction

The goal of this Program is to coordinate efforts to train the next generation of vector biologists and to increase the resilience of UTMB research partnerships in Medical and Veterinary Entomology.

Mission

With the creation of RABID, the UTMB Institute of Human Infections and Immunity will centralize Vector Biology capacity strengthening by offering various in-person and online training opportunities. This Program will also provide guidance and support for establishing and maintaining research partnerships with other U.S. and foreign institutions. Finally,  RABID will develop a resilient local network to increase synergy and collaboration between vector biology and ecology partners across the State of Texas.
